Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is a 2004 role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment to be the sequel to the 2003 game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic developed by BioWare. BioWare is most well known for developing the popular Mass Effect series.

Set 4, 000 years before the events of the film Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, KOTOR 2 as it is referred to by fans follows the story of an exiled Jedi Knight known only as the 'The Exile'.
The timeline of the game is set five years after the first instalment of the series and during this time the Jedi Order has been more-or-less eradicated by a triumvirate of mysterious Sith Lords who are all drawn to the power of The Exile or have a mysterious connection to the protagonists past.

The player has to develop their powers and connections to the force as well as recruit friends and partners as they track down the last remaining Jedi, eventually leading to a final showdown between The Exile and the Sith triumvirate.

KOTOR 2 makes amazing use of player customisation that allows the player to equip various weapons and gear as well as allowing the player to decide whether their character will join the light or dark side of the force.
The game uses a party system that allows the player to choose which of The Exile's friends will accompany them on their adventures. These features keep the game feeling fresh which means the player will find new and exciting game features every play through.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is a certified video game classic and I thoroughly recommend this game to all Star Wars and non-Star Wars fans who might be looking for an immersive, interactive game that reveals the secret history of the Star Wars franchise.

Rating 9/10.
